Welcome!
Celebrating 75 years of dance excellence!
Welcome back!! We are very excited to begin our 75th year of dance at Kicks Dance Center! We hope that you are as thrilled as we are to begin yet another season! Our goal at Kicks is to accomplish as much as possible within the allotted class time. With the help of both parents, siblings and students, we can accomplish this goal! In these efforts, we ask you to follow these simple rules:
Students must dress appropriately.
Girls must wear leotards; boys may wear fitted shirts.
Hair must be pulled back and no jewelry.
ABSOLUTELY NO LARGE T-SHIRTS, SWEATSHIRTS, or PAJAMA PANTS are permitted.
If jazz pants are worn, we feel that the “Capri” length near the calf muscle is best.
Frequently check the screws on the bottom of your tap shoes to avoid hurting yourself, ruining your shoes, or ruining the hardwood floor.
The waiting room must be quiet. Please remember that viewing class is a privilege that most studios do not allow. We ask that when parents wish to view their child, they leave young siblings or friends at home so that the waiting room will be non-disruptive to our dancers!
NO GUM in the waiting room or in the dance studio!
The bathroom is to be used for changing and lavatory use only.
Students must change their shoes in the waiting room.
NO FOOD OR DRINK! Only water bottles are permitted.
Please do not stand in the doorway while class is in session. This is especially distracting to our young students.
Children are not allowed to play unattended in the parking lot. Also children are not allowed near the horseshoe courts.
Turn cell phones to vibrate while classes are in session (this is for both students and parents).
Use caution while driving up & down the driveway and parking lot.
Thanks for your cooperation!
